Are Democrats Mentally Unstable?

Yes. The answer is yes.

I know that’s kind of a cliche’ question at this point, but seriously, it makes Savage’s book title look all the more prescient. I’m sure you’ve heard, but Nancy Pelosi the other day more or less claimed the mantle of at least part of the Tea Party “platform” while at the same time inventing out of whole cloth new spokes of that platform.

How many of you out there that care think the Citizens United case was a bad decision? Well, like it or not tea partiers, Nancy Pelosi just made condemnation of that decision de facto part of your list of grievances.

VARGAS: So, common ground with many people in the Tea Party movement.

PELOSI: Well, no, there are some. There are some because they, again, some of it is orchestrated from the Republican headquarters. Some of it is hijacking the good intentions of lots of people who share some of our concerns that we have about the role of special interests and many Tea Partiers, not that I speak for them, share the view, whether it’s — and Democrats, Republicans and Independents share the view that the recent Supreme Court decision, which greatly empowers the special interests, is something that they oppose.

I echo Ed. Uh, huh?

It never ends with these people. In the span of a 48 hours Nancy Pelosi pretty much absolves Charlie Rangel of any wrongdoing (cf her incredulousness at Tom DeLay’s shenanigans in 2004) and staples an incoherent rider to the tea party platform condemning one of the smartest Supreme Court decisions in decades.

There’s video of all of this but I’m implementing a new “No Pelosi Image/Sound” rule here at Thats-Right because if I can’t stomach posting it, you can’t stomach looking at or hearing it. The woman makes me wanna throw up just reading her statements.

Scratch has a whole lot more including memory hole items like Pelosi’s lies on enhanced interrogations and clinical schizophrenia on the Tea Party. He hopes, for Queen Nan’s sake, that ObamaCare comes with one hell of a psychiatric package to augment the Congressional Cadillac plan:

Poor Nancy. Clearly there’s something wrong with her memory or her mind. Good thing she has that wonderful Federal Health Care. You know, the one she’s going to fight tooth and nail to keep even if she manages to foist off Obamacare on the rest of us.
