Crocodile Tears from Crocodile Face

Granted she doesn't cry-Im' not sure she can anymore-but the fake choke-up is pathetic.

I'm sending you over to HotAir to watch the video, which you must, for an analysis of where the hell Madam Speaker was when union tugs were beating Ken Gladney, biting off fingers and generally engaging in actual violence.

I'd just like to highlight how stupid this woman is.

To paraphrase, 'the balance between Freedom and Safety must be, uh, carefully balanced."

The balance must be balanced.

Say it again.

The balance must be balanced.

Is this not just the dumbest thing you've heard from her...today?

She has no idea what she's talking about. There is no 'balance' between Freedom and safety. Freedom wins, period. Presumably she's misusing the old "Fire" in a crowded theatre yarn to not so deftly threaten those of us who are petitioning our Government for a redress of grievances.

The point of that exercise is that doing so has no protected, political speech value and instead is almost certain to cause a panic and most likely injury.

I'm a lawyer and I take the Constitution and its principles seriously. There is no balancing act made by the Courts when dealing with political speech. Even vulgarity like "Fuck the Draft" is unequivocally protected in the name of political discourse and especially dissent. Pelosi is trying to dumb down the protection of political speech by putting it on some imaginary plane with potential violence based on a false analogy from 1970's San Francisco.

Suffice to say, she's an idiot.

I'll leave you with a photo I took in D.C. that pretty much sums up the idea of Liberty.

That's goddamn right brother.
