Kirsten Fleming takes Meghan McCain to task and makes a desperate yet simple plea: "please, if you do care about your father's party, stop."

I have nothing personally against Meghan, but I have to agree with everything Ms. Fleming has to say about her undeserved rise to fame and the damage she's doing to the party and the burgeoning conservative movement.  I asked the question at HotAir's comments what happened between 1977 (the year I was born) and 1984 (the year Meghan was born) that makes me an old, lame, Michelle Malkin conservative and her the hip, edgy, future of the GOP?

The answer I got was telling: seven more years to read, learn and understand.  Fair enough.

Give it a rest Meghan, at least for the time being.  Hit the books and come back when you're ready to dance.  By virtue of your birth you've been given a great opportunity the rest of us can only dream of.  I am imploring you to take it seriously.
