Who you callin' Extremist Hot Shot?

Heritage asks the President just who the hell he thinks he's calling 'extremist'.

Everybody that's opposed to ObamaCare in any way..that's who. It doesn't matter the reason you oppose it, how you oppose it or why you oppose it; if you oppose it, you're an extremist. Wear it like a badge people.

I do. My avatar on Twitter and a couple other places is a t-shirt I made myself proudly proclaiming my membership in the Right-Wing Extremist club. I did so because were they alive today, every single signer of the greatest document ever written in human history, the Declaration of Independence, would be so as well. I can't think of better company with which to be associated.

Heritage notes that the President pulled out his trusty 'extremist' smear to rally the troops before Saturday's vote on Pelosi's bill.

Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit [Democratic voters] and it will encourage the extremists.”

He's actually right about that...well, half- right. It's certainly true that a win Saturday night would have been awesome. But the loss may actually have a greater effect on how "encouraged" we become leading up to the Senate fight. Anecdotally, I can tell you that I've spoken with several people who, if they weren't before Saturday, are now most certainly all in for the fight.
