Evil Clown moves Troops to Colombia's Border
We're going to find out aren't we.
On Sunday Mr Chavez, Washington’s number one foe in the region, ordered the Venezuelan military and populace to prepare to “defend the homeland”.
You know what's interesting about that sentence, I'm not sure whether it's true anymore, insofar as I'm not sure Obama considers Venezuela a "foe". Seriously, what do you think?
Obama botched the Honduras and Iran incidents so spectacularly one got the impression that dictators, socialist dictators were A-Ok in the President's book. If that's the case, I wonder whether Chavez knows this well enough to make a move on Colombia to further his goal of regional hegemony.
I just...don't...know. Never in my life did I ever once stop to think that there would come a day when I was honestly questioning an American President's commitment to stopping would-be dictators from invading and annexing traditional U.S. allies.
I don't think he'll do anything. Perhaps he'll lob a few harmless rockets into the jungle but I just can't see him rolling the tanks toward Bogota. If he does though, watch for Obama to declare it just another regional misunderstanding and simply none of our business.
Watch.
