ALERT: The 11-11 Campaign for Veterans

Thats-Right.com is pleased to introduce the 11-11 Campaign to our readers.

The 11-11 Campaign wants to get 11 million Americans to donate $11 to help support Veterans in several ways. For those of you wondering, that's an ambitious $121,000,000.

The Eleven Eleven Campaign is a project of Beyond Tribute.org.

The Beyond Tribute Coalition consists of 11 Charities that specialize in Direct Services and/or Advocacy for Veterans of all eras and conflicts (see below for Coalition partners), including veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, and the present day conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Coalition does outreach to about 13 million Americans, including veteran members, family members, supporters, donors, and fans across the nation.

The Coalition has been carefully vetted through an application process administered by Scholarship America, in order to guarantee their financial accountability and quality of services to the veterans’ population. Coalition organizations will receive contributions directly from the Beyond Tribute Veterans’ Day Campaign. They will also participate in outreach to their membership and supporters prior to Veterans’ Day by publicizing the Beyond Tribute campaign via e-mail blasts, newsletters, and on their organizational websites.

Go here to check out their website. And here to see a list of the coalition organizations that will be distributing the donations.

Here's the donation widget:

Because things move kind of fast in 'Rapid Fire Rightness', we'll be moving the widget to our home page, here at the bottom of your screen, where it will remain for the duration of the campaign.

November 11th is Veterans day.

We should all do what we can.

Russ
