We will not be ruled.

I'm just musing here...bear with me.

My first thought is that, unlike most other places in the world and unlike most other points in time, the American people will not be ruled. We may tolerate much-we have already-but we have a breaking point that occurs more quickly than most.

I honestly never thought about this before.

For now, after listening to the President of the United States speak in New Orleans, I'll just say that I think I felt, for the first time in my life, just a feint vibration in the tracks. I have to get real close. It's not readily apparent. But when I put my ear down, just inches from the ground, the tiny hairs on the back of my neck start to quiver.

That's all I can feel right now; something far, far away, causing the tracks to shiver.

I have a wedding to attend in Tampa this weekend. Bunch of my boys are headed down tomorrow to eat, drink, be merry, play a little golf together and celebrate our man and his truly awesome bride to be.

I'll check in as often as I can. We'll get back to serious work here next Thursday.

I wonder whether I'll feel it still.

Vigilance, is the price we pay.

G'Night America.

Russ
