New Jersey Rallies against Indoctrination

I bash my State quite often, because it deserves it, but I love when we do something admirable even better.

You all know about the infamous "Heil Obama" video shot at a New Jersey elementary school. Well yesterday dozens of parents stood on the sidewalk outside the school and sang some different songs:

About 70 protesters stood on a sidewalk across the street from the B. Bernice Young School waving flags and homemade placards, singing "God Bless America" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," and chanting slogans such as "No indoctrination" and "Free children, free minds."

Now, you may ask, 'what's the point of singing those songs to protest child indoctrination'? I don't really know, but my take is that the parents were making a point that if there's allegiances to be taught in school it is to the Republic itself, rather than any given fleeting politician.

Big ups to Brooklyn. Enjoy.
